About that case
A personal matter I’ve been dealing with for a number of years has come to an end as today Ms Lo Russo discontinued the proceedings against myself and Dovetail.
I have always strongly denied and continue to deny the allegations that Ms Lo Russo made against me and Dovetail. I deny that myself, our team, or our investors did anything wrong. Over the last two years we have filed evidence as part of our defence and I’m disappointed that we will not have the opportunity to present that evidence in Court.
My reputation has been called into question through this process including by media reports on the case. Most of these articles have been one-sided and highly selective in their quoting from Court filings while a minority included snippets of our defence.
Contrary to some reporting, there have never been issues regarding company governance, board composition, or how we handled the matter at the time or since. Dovetail’s investors were kept informed throughout and have been supportive of our defence. We are a private company that employs good, reasonable people. We have always followed the law and tried to do the right thing at every step of the way.
The future at Dovetail is bright and I am looking forward to moving on from these events. Thank you to my wife, mum, family, friends, Brad and the wider team at Dovetail, our investors, and our lawyers who have stood by me during this extremely stressful time.
