Nakasendo Trail
One of five routes connecting Edo (Tokyo) and Kyoto during the Edo period. Unlike the busy coastal Tokaido route, the Nakasendo wound through the mountains of central Japan, passing through sixty-nine post towns where travelers could rest. Shot on Ultramax 400 on a Canon New F-1 with a 35mm f/2 lens and an 85mm f/1.8 lens.
